Designed for those who want to live autonomously without polluting, the Elight 44 combines advanced propulsion with a massive solar array to deliver a true zero-emission boating experience.

The Serial Hybrid system is sourced from Torqeedo, the world leader in electric marine mobility. It features their renowned Deep Blue motors (up to 200 kW total) and is backed by a global service network, offering a powerful and proven all-electric primary system supported by a high-capacity battery bank and genset.

The Parallel Hybrid system is engineered for higher continuous speeds (18+ knots). It pairs reliable Yanmar diesel engines with 20kW electric motors, allowing you to cruise silently on electric power or engage the diesels for high-speed passages. This system provides all the benefits of electric cruising without needing a separate generator, saving on maintenance, space, and weight.

Both systems offer exceptional redundancy, as the propulsion systems in each hull can function independently—a necessary feature for blue-water exploration. While at rest, the 7kW solar array generates more power than the boat's hotel systems use in a 24-hour cycle. In practice, you can spend days at an island, storing solar power, and then travel 10-40 miles to the next destination on pure, green energy.
