The Sun Concept PRO 9.0 OYSTER is a solar-augmented electric boat purpose-built for aquaculture and marine work. While optimized for oyster nursery operations, its robust design handles passenger transport, cargo, research, and other utility roles with ease.
At 8.00 m in length, with a 3.00 m beam and just 0.40 m draft, the PRO 9.0 offers a stable yet shallow-water capable platform. Its design balances structural strength and maneuverability, enabling access to tight waters that deeper vessels can’t reach.
The vessel’s propulsion system includes a 12 kW electric motor paired with a battery pack from 27.8 kWh, supported by solar panels. It can reach up to 6.5 knots, while its energy arrangement emphasizes extended working endurance at lower speeds.
Built with heavy-duty utility in mind, the PRO 9.0 is engineered to carry significant loads and operate reliably throughout demanding mission cycles. It’s stable under load and optimized for sustained low-speed performance in marine farm settings.
