The Ocean Cleanup: Develops and deploys large-scale technologies to remove plastics from both rivers and oceans worldwide, aiming for a 90% reduction in floating ocean plastic by 2040.

Parley_Logo

Parley for the Oceans: Focuses on awareness, collaboration, and design solutions to reduce ocean plastics, working with companies to upcycle ocean plastic into new products.

Ocean_Conservancy_Logo

Ocean Conservancy: Hosts the International Coastal Cleanup, a massive volunteer effort to remove trash from beaches and waterways around the world for over 30 years.

Surfrider_Foundation_Logo

Surfrider Foundation: Grassroots network working for ocean, beach, and surf spot preservation, heavily involved in beach cleanups and plastic pollution initiatives.

#TeamSeas: A global campaign and coalition of organizations raising funds and awareness for large-scale removal of plastics from oceans, rivers, and beaches, with implementation partners like The Ocean Cleanup.

These organizations use a range of strategies, from direct removal and volunteer mobilization to research, advocacy, and innovations in recycled products—all united by the goal of keeping the oceans free from plastic pollution.
