The Artemis EF-12 Workboat is the first fully electric, foiling commercial workboat, built for harbor, port, and utility operations. Designed to lift above displacement drag using Artemis’ eFoiler® technology, it offers efficient, low-wake transit while delivering zero emissions.

Capable of a top speed of 31 knots and a cruise speed of 25 knots, the EF-12 Workboat is optimized for performance in demanding working environments. With a foiling range of approximately 55 nautical miles, it supports long shifts and quick turnaround. It accommodates 6 passengers, combining safe, stable ride-comfort with operational utility.

Every aspect of this boat is designed for durability and purpose. Its flight control system and active stabilisation enhance handling even at low speeds, while its walk-around deck layout, minimal maintenance electric drive system, and reduced environmental impact make it well-suited for modern marine operations.

The EF-12 Workboat is listed as eligible equipment under California’s CORE program, designed to subsidize the adoption of zero-emission commercial harbor craft.

Base Voucher Amount:

• $795,000 for the single propulsion 270kW power

• $795,000 for the dual propulsion 540kW power

• 10 % DAC (Disadvantaged/Low-Income Community) Enhancement — applicable if the vessel is deployed in a designated community.

• 15 % Small Business Enhancement — applicable when purchased or leased by a qualifying small business (annual revenue ≤ $15 million, California–based)
